Tracking Your Progress Made Easy... and Stylish?

Polar FT4 Womens Heart Rate Watch

Alert Alert! Just in... you can now check your heart rate and calorie count in style. This Polar FT4 womens heart rate watch really does it all... except track your run. How does it work you ask?  Well, upon purchase you receive the watch as well as a black strap which can be identified in the photo above. That black strap is then placed directly underneath your chest area. The black strap is an electronic transmitter that when placed underneath the chest area a heart rate can be identified. The moment that electric transmitter identifies that heart rate it transfers the information to the watch. In moments you have a accurate heart rate. Another feature with this watch is that it provides users with an accurate calorie count of your physical activity.

The calorie counter is determined by the heart rate. They rely on each other to deliver accurate data. The higher your heart rate, the more calories you are burning per minute. During your workout you can tap the top right button and it will provide you with your calorie information.

The black strap transmitter is soft, light, and fairly comfortable. Sweat will not affect the accuracy of your workout. The strap will not fall off. The watch and the strap are both water-resistant, great for swimming!

The watch is comfortable and light as well. Four ounces and a thin design makes it easier to wear while doing physical activity and also just for everyday activity. The watch has all the information a regular watch has (date and weekday and time of day) and its additional features (dual time zone, low battery indicator, water resistant, and black light) are just a nice surprise!

Need to track your workouts and remember then for later? No problem, the watch can record training files with summaries up to 10 times.

If you do not like the color that is shown in the picture above there are other options! Green, pink, grey, blue and black are other options.

Now need a quick guide? Watch this video to get a visual summary of the Polar FT4 watch to understand how the five buttons on the watch work and the basic settings like weight, date of birth and sex.

Also, get a real customer review below to understand the thoughts and concerns of a polar customer!

It is a fact that this polar watch is the most simple of all polar watch brands and the cheapest ($99.95) but if you visit the website and look to the middle left of the page there will be a tab of all the polar products. There you can see what other products are available and the different features that they offer.

Lets compare the product one above the FT4, this is called the FT7. The FT7 is a little over 15 dollars more in price.
They are almost identical!
The difference I found are the following:
  • you can load your training progress to the computer.
  • There is an EnergyPointer feature that tells you during a training session if the main effect of your training is fat burning or fitness improvement.
  • More training file saving capabilities (99 files can be saved.
It is not incredibly different from each other but if you just want the simplest features, the FT4.

Hopefully this review was helpful and your running can be improved with this product! Before purchasing the product, review the features and website for a details on its features.
